Max Kepler Belts Two Home Runs Against White Sox
4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler started his season off with a blast, two, to be exact. The 27-year-old homered twice, both solo shots, in the Twins' 10-5 Opening Day victory over the Chicago White Sox. Kepler deposited the first pitch he saw in 2020 over the right field fence, then tagged a Giolito fastball 107.5 MPH a little bit further up the right field seats his second time up. The German outfielder feasted on right-handed pitching last year, notching 27 of his career-high 36 home runs against righties. He appears to be picking up right where he left off. Keep him in the lineup on Saturday against lefty Dallas Keuchel, who posted the second-highest home runs per nine innings mark of his career in 2019.
