4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray was excellent in his Opening Day start against the Detroit Tigers on Friday. Gray allowed just one run over six innings of work while striking out nine and walking just two. The only damage off of Gray came in the form of a C.J. Cron solo homer in the fourth inning. Gray had a solid 2019 season with the Reds and appears poised to carry that over to the 2020 season. He is lined up to face off against the Chicago Cubs for his next start in what will be a much tougher opponent than what he saw on Opening Day.--Matt T - RotoBaller
