Aaron Nola Struggles Vs Marlins
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola had a rough start to the season in a loss vs the Marlins on Opening Day. The right-hander allowed four runs in 5 1/3 innings while allowing five hits and a walk. Nola did strike out seven to salvage some usability in fantasy, but this was a disappointing effort vs a weak lineup. Nola got off to a slow start last season and still finished with a sub-four ERA and more than 10 K/9 so fantasy owners shouldn't panic. Fantasy managers could consider benching the ace for his next start, however, as he's lined up to face the Yankees in New York.
