4 years agoCleveland Indians third baseman Jose Ramirez when 1-for-3 with a double during Friday's 2-0 win over the Royals. Ramirez is coming off a subpar 2019 season in which he hit .255 with a 806 OPS, which were his lowest numbers in both categories since the start of the 2016 season. He had a miserable beginning to 2019 but finished very strong. He seems primed for a bounce-back campaign in 2020. He was an MVP candidate in 2018, so the skills are certainly there. He's hitting in the middle of a strong offense, and should produce at the level of a top-30 hitter in 2020.--James Stokke
