4 years agoCincinnati Reds catcher Tucker Barnhart will have to wait to begin his 2020 season as he was placed on the paternity list prior to first pitch Sunday. Curt Casali will assume full-time catching duties for the Reds in Barnhart’s absence, but utilityman Kyle Farmer figures to factor in as well. To take Barnhart’s spot on the active roster, right-handed pitcher Tejay Antone was recalled, although he does not factor in from a fantasy perspective at this time. Upon his return, Barnhart will hold value in deeper leagues as he will likely reclaim the vast majority of catching duties for the Reds.--Jesse Borek
