4 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor made his 2020 debut on Saturday night in a 3-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies. Over five innings, Minor gave up three hits, two runs, one earned run, and a walk, while striking out six batters. The line was useful for his fantasy managers, but it took Minor 98 pitches to get through those five innings. He will look to improve on his efficiency in start number two against the Giants next week. The Rangers have struggled to get runs across the plate in their first two games. If Minor keeps putting up lines like tonight's, then he should be able to rely on the offense to pick him up and get him some wins in the 2020 season.--Euan Leith
