2020 A Crucial Year For Leonard Fournette
4 years agoJacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette is entering the final year of his rookie deal. After his name was surrounded by trade rumors during the offseason, the team opted to retain the services of the 25-year-old heading into 2020. He finished 2019 with 1,152 rushing yards, 522 receiving yards, and 76 catches, which were all the best marks of his career. He was also a bruising runner, racking up 792 yards after contact, while also accumulating 16 broken tackles. Although he did regress on the scoring end, with only three touchdowns on the ground, he was a welcome addition to fantasy teams as he mostly exceeded his ADP in many leagues. With Fournette's future hanging in the balance beyond this season, the former LSU Tiger may have one more chance to prove his worth to the team. Fantasy managers could be pleasantly surprised by his output this season, and he does have value for those who miss out on a workhorse back early on in drafts.
