Luke Voit Hits His First Home Run Of The Season
4 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit made his first hit of the 2020 season count with a 387 ft shot against the Nationals on Sunday. Although the home run was the only damage that Voit did on Sunday, he also smoked a 95.1 mph line drive with a .910 xBA that was caught at third base. A patient hitter with a powerful bat, Voit is looking to build off of a solid 2019 that saw him post a .842 OPS with a 4.1% home run rate and a 14% walk rate, and Sunday’s game was a good step in that direction.
