BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 36% of leagues
ANALYSIS: With many baseball fans drooling over the potential of Gavin Lux, Chris Taylor was a fantasy afterthought until about a week ago. When Lux was sent to the Alternate Site, Taylor started two of the Dodgers' first three games, going 4-for-8 with an RBI. The Dodgers love to shuffle their lineup around, and Taylor's ability to play a number of positions with get him more consistent at-bats than many of us would have thought.
Taylor is not quite the runner he was a few years ago as his home-to-first time has dropped from 4.18 to 4.29, but his 28.7 ft/s Sprint Speed could still lead to a few SBs, and he seems to have made the necessary offseason adjustments to remedy last year's dip in barrel%, exit velocity, and Hard Hit%. If he's anything like the hitter he was from 2017-18, and he appears to be, then he could have strong value in a talented Dodgers lineup, and his versatility will make him a great bench piece for your roster.
