4 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder/infielder Marwin Gonzalez hit his first home run of the 2020 season in a 14-2 rout of the Chicago White Sox. Gonzalez, like the Twins, had a quiet day offensively on Saturday, going 0-for-3 with a walk. Sunday was an offensive explosion for the team and Gonzalez' home run in the ninth inning tied a ribbon on the game. The 31-year-old doesn't possess a ton of upside, though he could be a threat for extra bases whenever he's in the lineup. With that being said, his low walk rate and high strikeout rate are particularly unattractive if he's not providing any pop with his bat.--Tim Capurso
