4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Adrian Houser gave up one run, one hit, and three walks over five innings against the Pirates on Monday. He struck out four and looked in control for most of his outing. Despite the strong showing, however, Houser exited after 68 pitches (37 for strikes). Houser emerged as one of the Brewers' best options in the second half of 2019, and in his first start of 2020, he continued that momentum. He has the tools and skills necessary to take a step forward and could help solidify your fantasy rotation this season. Houser’s two-seam fastball had a 67.8 GB%, which was the third-highest of any pitch from every starter. Overall, Houser’s main strength is inducing weak contact. --James Stokke
