4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler allowed two runs on three hits across 3 2/3 innings of work during Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Houston Astros. He struck out three batters while walking one. The Dodgers were incredibly cautious with their young ace since he had a late start to summer camp, as he only threw 56 pitches. With this shortened start under his belt, the team will likely extend Buehler's leash in his next projected start on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
