4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Jesus Luzardo will be joining the A's starting rotation after his second solid relief outing Wednesday vs Colorado. Luzardo pitched 3 2/3 innings and allowed three runs, one earned, with five strikeouts. He threw 43 of 67 pitches for strikes and should be stretched out enough to start. Luzardo was behind other pitchers at the start of Summer Camp due to testing positive for COVID-19, but has looked good since returning. The 22-year-old lefty has pitched three-plus innings in relief twice thus far and has seven strikeouts against the one earned run. The A's have not announced when Luzardo will start, but fantasy owners should look to start Luzardo when he does join the rotation.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
