4 years agoFree agent kicker Graham Gano was released by the Carolina Panthers on Thursday. Gano was looking at a competition for the kicking job with Joey Slye, who filled in for him after he missed all of last year. Head coach Matt Rhule said that Gano, who hasn't played a full year since 2017, looked healthy but that his salary figure didn't make sense in a rebuilding year. If the 33-year-old is truly healthy, he could certainly be fantasy-relevant in 2020. In his last full season, Gano made the Pro Bowl and led the league with a 96.7% made field-goal percentage.--Tim Capurso
