4 years agoRight-handed reliever Fernando Rodney is attempting to make it back into the Major Leagues, this time as a member of the Houston Astros, who have assigned him to their alternate training site after signing him to a contract. At 43 years old, should Rodney make the Astros’ bullpen, he would appear for his 12th different big league club. After splitting 2019 between the Oakland A’s and Washington Nationals and producing a 5.66 ERA and poor 13.3% walk rate in 47.2 innings, Rodney doesn’t figure to be a season-long fantasy contributor barring significant blows to the current Houston bullpen hierarchy.--Jesse Borek
