Ronald Bolanos Set For Start On Sunday
4 years agoKansas City Royals right-handed pitcher Ronald Bolanos has earned another start in the club’s rotation after impressing manager Mike Matheny in his first time out. Bolanos is set to begin Sunday’s game against the Chicago White Sox after working two innings of two-run (zero earned) ball against Cleveland last week. Having hit an average of 95.6 MPH on his fastball in his first start, there is optimism swirling around Bolanos, even as he was limited to just 32 pitches. He’ll have a tough time combating a White Sox lineup that enters play Friday leading the American League in team slugging percentage (.457); for that reason, owners can stay away from Bolanos in both the DFS and season-long markets.
