4 years agoMinnesota Twins first baseman/designated hitter Miguel Sano is not in the starting lineup for Friday’s game against Cleveland right-hander Mike Clevinger. Sano has gotten off to a frosty start in 2020, going just 1-for-17 at the dish with eight strikeouts. In his career against the Cleveland righty, Sano has four hits in 20 at-bats, with 11 of those outs coming via the strikeout. Marwin Gonzalez will instead hold down the first base spot and hit seventh in the lineup, although his DFS intrigue is capped by his stout matchup. Sano’s next chance to return to the starting nine comes Saturday when Cleveland is expected to throw right-hander Carlos Carrasco.--Jesse Borek
