Randy Dobnak Tosses Five Scoreless Innings In Win
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Randy Dobnak earned his first win of the 2020 season against the Cleveland Indians on Friday. Dobnak tossed five scoreless innings, allowing three hits, walking two and striking out four. While he did have some long innings, it's still an impressive performance for the 25-year-old, who threw 63 of 94 pitches for strikes. Minnesota couldn't ask for much more from the Pennsylvania native when it comes to filling in for Jake Odorizzi (back). It seems as if Odorizzi will be back in the rotation sometime next week, though this won't be the last time Dobnak is out there. His versatility could prove valuable in a shortened season.
