4 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Alex Avila hit his first home run of the 2020 season in Friday's win over Cleveland. Avila's blast was a 405-foot homer that traveled at an exit velocity of 105.1 MPH. The 33-year-old doesn't provide much fantasy value at this point in his career, though it's fair to wonder if he'll get more playing time in the near future. Starter Mitch Garver has really struggled as a hitter and Avila is better behind the plate. Avila should be avoided in fantasy, though Garver owners should be hoping he busts out of his slump soon.--Tim Capurso
