4 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea allowed six hits and four runs in just 4 1/3 innings vs the Mariners Friday. Manaea started the game with three scoreless innings, but the wheels came off in the fourth when three runs crossed the plate before he was lifted in the fifth with more traffic on the basepaths. Manaea has now failed to complete the fifth inning in both of his starts, and with his sub-20 percent career strikeout rate he won't contribute in fantasy unless he can improve his ratios. He'll face Texas in his next start but won't be a recommended fantasy option until he proves he can get through an MLB lineup more than once.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
