4 years agoTampa Bay Rays utility Brandon Lowe and outfielder Kevin Kiermaier are both being given rest for Saturday's game against the Baltimore Orioles. Both Lowe and Kiermaier are out of the lineup because left-hander Wade LeBlanc is on the mound for the Orioles. Tampa Bay has sat both players for two of the last three games against lefties, so there seems to be a pattern here. Joey Wendle will start in place of Lowe while Manuel Margot mans center field and bats eighth. Ji-Man Choi is also not in the lineup for Tampa Bay and has been given the day off.--Tim Capurso
