4 years agoWashington Nationals outfielder Juan Soto is yet to make his on-field debut in 2020, but his swing appears to be on track for expected levels of success after he smacked a home run during a scrimmage Saturday. Soto is an elite fantasy option in any format, having put together a terrific 2019 that saw him finish in the top-three percentile in xwOBA (.415) and xwOBAcon (.475). Washington could desperately use Soto’s punch in the middle of the order, and he could be nearing a return as early as next week following a positive COVID-19 test that has sidelined him. He will be a must-start season-long option from the first day that he is activated.--Jesse Borek
