4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Mike Tauchman went 3-for-4 on Saturday, with two of his four batted balls coming off of the bat faster than 95 mph. With Giancarlo Stanton acting as the team’s primary DH, Tauchman is competing with Brett Gardner and Miguel Andujar for playing time in left field. Tauchman’s defensive ability and .865 OPS from last season should give him a solid leg-up, but the 29-year-old will likely need a significant hot-streak to earn consistent playing time. As a result, Tauchman remains more of a factor for DFS fantasy players than those in full-season leagues, but his strong performance on Saturday is encouraging.--Sam Chinitz
