Homer Bailey Placed On 10-Day Injured List
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Homer Bailey (biceps) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Sunday. Bailey was scratched from Sunday's start and manager Rocco Baldelli called it "recovery-related", though it appears there was something going on behind the scenes. The team is describing the injury as tendonitis, so it doesn't appear to be anything too serious. Reliever Tyler Clippard will start an opener for the Twins on Sunday against Cleveland. As for Bailey's next start, it's very likely that Randy Dobnak will get another turn in the rotation. Dobnak has looked good and is an option for those who need pitching help.
