4 years agoNew York Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman (illness) could throw a bullpen session on Monday, according to manager Aaron Boone. Chapman has been playing catch, but has yet to step on a mound since contracting the virus. This would be a step in the right direction for the flamethrowing lefty, who was recently cleared to workout after about a three-week hiatus from baseball activities. It's unclear when he'll be able to return, so Zack Britton should be rostered as he continues to hold down the ninth inning for New York.--Tim Capurso
