Corey Seager Could Return To Lineup Monday
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager missed Sunday’s game against Arizona as he dealt with calf discomfort, but manager Dave Roberts mentioned afterwards that Seager had received treatment and that he was hopeful that he could get him back in the starting nine Monday as the designated hitter. Seager has gotten off to a torrid start in 2020, entering Sunday leading the Majors with 25 total bases. His National League-leading 13 hits have helped him to accrue a .361 batting average, which is likely why Roberts would want Seager’s bat back in the fold when facing Padres ace Chris Paddack. Stay tuned to see if Seager returns, although his tough matchup and lingering ailment may mean that owners will want to stay clear in DFS.
