Kendall Graveman Dealing With Neck Ailment
4 years agoSeattle Mariners right-handed pitcher Kendall Graveman worked 4 ⅔ innings Sunday against the A’s, turning in a solid two-run, three-strikeout performance. But as he works his way back from Tommy John surgery, a new issue has cropped up: a neck ailment. Graveman stated that his extension has been affected in each of his two starts in 2020 and that he will undergo tests Monday to help diagnose the issue. An injury for a pitcher -- especially to the neck -- is definite cause for concern moving forward. If the Seattle rotation holds, Graveman’s next start would come Friday against Colorado, although owners will want to check back to see if he’ll be cleared to take the mound.
