4 years agoSeattle Mariners left-handed pitcher Justus Sheffield presents a high-upside play heading into Monday’s contest against Oakland. Sheffield will not only be a two-start pitcher next week (with his other projected start coming at home against Colorado), but will have a low price tag in DFS that is worth exploring on a slate full of high-priced arms. Through their first nine games, Oakland is dead last in the American League in team on-base percentage (.282) and owns the second-lowest OPS (.589). Factor in that Sheffield held a similar A’s offense to just one run across five frames last September and there’s reason to give the highly-touted southpaw consideration.--Jesse Borek
