4 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Jose Quintana (thumb) threw a 30-pitch bullpen session on Monday and reported no issues. Quintana previously threw a bullpen session on Saturday and is scheduled to throw a two-inning simulated game Thursday at the Cubs alternative training site. If everything goes well on Thursday, Quintana may be able to return to the rotation next week. Quintana’s return is likely to bump Alec Mills back to a bullpen role. Quintana can be avoided outside of DFS leagues for now.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
