4 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil (back) has been scratched from Monday’s lineup with lower back tightness. Infielder/outfielder J.D. Davis (illness) who was originally out of the lineup with a stomach ailment will now replace McNeil in the lineup and bat fifth. McNeil should be considered day-to-day for now, but losing him long term would be a big blow for the Mets and fantasy owners. McNeil is hitting .343 with five RBI on the young season and more information should be known on his status as the evening goes on.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
