4 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn has had a spotless start to the 2020 season. Through two starts, the righty has pitched 12 innings with 17 strikeouts, a 0.75 WHIP, and a perfect 0.00 ERA. Tonight, he will face an Oakland team that just plated 11 runs against the Seattle Mariners and boasts one of the more potent lineups in the league. Lynn pitched three times in the Coliseum last season and had a 6.75 ERA, 1.705 WHIP, but also struck out 23 batters in 14 and two-thirds innings. Season-long managers shouldn't be scared off from starting Lynn on Tuesday night, but his history against Oakland on the road means that he is a natural fade in daily contests.--Euan Leith
