4 years agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Manuel Margot will miss at least the team’s next three games in the wake of the death of his father, which has had him placed on the league’s bereavement list. Margot has gotten off to a slow start in his first 10 games as a Ray, going 3-for-30 and is yet to drive in a run or deliver one of his trademark stolen bases. But still just 25 years old, Margot has tremendous upside with an organization who has made their ability to develop young stars apparent. Austin Meadows returns Tuesday and essentially takes Margot’s spot in the lineup, making it murky where he will fit in upon his return to the club.--Jesse Borek
