4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Ben Gamel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the White Sox. His fifth-inning shot off Lucas Giolito briefly gave the Brewers the lead, but it was the only offense the team could muster on the night. Gamel has taken full advantage of Lorenzo Cain's decision to opt out of the season, starting three straight games and going 4-for-12 with a double, two homers, three runs scored and five RBI. He's currently batting eighth in the order. so his fantasy upside is limited, but he's worth a look in deeper mixed leagues now that he's receiving consistent playing time.--James Stokke
