4 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Delino DeShields (undisclosed) is expected to rejoin the team in the next day or two. The speedster was part of the haul that sent Corey Kluber to Texas, but was placed in the injured list with an undisclosed injury prior to Opening Day. DeShields did test positive at the beginning of summer camp for COVID-19, so that is likely the reason he was sidelined. The Indians entire outfield has struggled, so it’s like DeShields will get some early at-bats with the chance to earn a full time role with his new team.
