4 years agoSeattle Mariners left-hander Nick Margevicius has made three appearances out of relief in 2020, but with Kendall Graveman (neck) set to miss multiple starts, Margevicius will enter the starting five this weekend, set to face Colorado at T-Mobile Park. The 24-year-old is particularly experienced with the Rockies from his time with the Padres last year, but the results were not flattering; in 10 ⅓ innings, Margevicius was clobbered to the tune of 26 hits and 19 runs across three starts. Until the southpaw can prove that he has turned the corner on his nightmarish 2019, he can likely remain on the waiver wire, especially with a matchup against the hard-hitting Rockies on the horizon.--Jesse Borek
