Kenta Maeda Delivers Quality Start Despite No-Decision
4 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Kenta Maeda had a solid day in a no-decision against the Pirates. Maeda went six innings, giving up three runs and one walk while striking out four. The veteran starter may not have been as sharp as in his first two starts, though he was good enough to get the victory. He made one mistake in the second inning, serving up a three-run homer to Gregory Polanco but settled down after that. Maeda has given the Twins good length and a quality start in each of his outings, so his fantasy managers should be pleased. Up next for Maeda is a start against an underachieving Brewers lineup.
