4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has gotten off to a tremendous start in the shortened 2020 campaign, yet gleaning his Statcast metrics further, he should be off to an even gaudier start. Despite hitting .347, Seager has actually been massively unlucky; his .459 xBA, .955 xSLG and .593 xwOBA all lead the Majors. Owners have waited years for Seager to put all of his tools together at the dish, and even though he’s battling lingering injuries, he is still on an MVP pace this season. His next chance to keep demolishing opposing pitching comes Friday against Giants right-hander Jeff Samardzija, even as his DFS price tag has not reacted accordingly to his eye-popping metrics.--Jesse Borek
