4 years agoNew York Mets first baseman/outfielder Dominic Smith is in the Mets lineup on Friday against righty Humberto Mejia and the Marlins. Smith is batting sixth and makes for a great contrarian option at first base in DFS leagues on Friday. In 25 plate appearances so far this season, Smith is hitting an underwhelming .222, but he boasts a .360 on-base percentage and leads the Mets with seven RBI and has one home run. He also boasts a 16% walk rate, showing great patience at the plate, along with a very impressive 22.9 overall launch angle.
