4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Adam Ottavino took the loss on Friday, allowing one run over one inning of work. A pair of walks were Ottavino’s undoing on Friday, but there don’t appear to be any long-term concerns regarding his control. The primary issue for Ottavino’s fantasy value is his role; as a part of a loaded Yankees bullpen, Ottavino is effectively a non-factor for fantasy players looking for saves. That being said, Ottavino’s stellar 211 ERA+ and 34% strikeout rate from the past two seasons make him an elite reliever for fantasy players looking for holds and a potential DFS option if Chapman and Britton both wind up sidelined.--Sam Chinitz
