Luis Arraez Rejoins Twins Lineup Saturday, Bats Seventh
4 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Luis Arraez has returned to the lineup for Saturday’s contest against the Royals and left-hander Danny Duffy. Having missed the past two games due to knee soreness, Arraez is back manning the keystone and batting seventh. After opening the year on a five-game hitting streak, Arraez’s average has dipped down to .216 with a .529 OPS entering play Saturday. After a terrific rookie campaign, Arraez has been unable to replicate the .334 BA and .295 xBA that put him on the fantasy radar last season. He draws a tough left-on-left matchup against Duffy in his first game back, but season-long owners can give the uber-contact hitter a bit of a leash over the next week to find his level.
