Rich Hill Not Likely To Start Tuesday, Return Unknown
4 years agoMinnesota Twins left-handed pitcher Rich Hill does not appear on track to be activated from the injured list to start Tuesday against Milwaukee as he works his way back from a shoulder ailment. Manager Rocco Baldelli noted that Hill is continuing to ramp up for a return, but does not have an update on when he’ll again take the mound. Hill’s lone start thus far in 2020 saw him toss five scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts, but his inability to stay on the mound has stunted his early success. The Twins have not yet announced a starter, but have shown themselves to be flexible with openers in the early part of the year. Hill’s injury woes make him a tough season-long option, thereby limiting him to upside DFS owners at this stage.
