Corey Seager Sitting Saturday, Day To Day For Return
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager was removed from Friday’s game with a back injury and will now also be held out of Saturday’s lineup. While manager Dave Roberts noted that Seager had less discomfort as the night went on, the club will play it safe and have Chris Taylor start at shortstop against Giants righty Johnny Cueto. Seager is officially tagged as day-to-day to return as he continues to lead the Majors in xBA (.450), xSLG (.936), and xwOBA (.582). San Francisco is set to send right-hander Kevin Gausman to the mound Sunday, which would make Seager a strong DFS pick (.371 BA vs. RHP in 2020) if he is able to rejoin the lineup.
