4 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Liam Hendriks allowed a run, but picked up his fifth save of the season Saturday vs Houston. Hendriks was called on to protect a three-run lead and allowed two of the first three batters faced to reach base, one of them scoring. That was all the Astros could muster, however, as Hendriks was able to retire the next two batters to preserve the win for Oakland. Hendriks is sporting a strikeout rate of 39 percent and is established as the closer for one of the best teams in the Majors making him a must-start player in fantasy.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
