4 years agoSan Francisco Giants right-handed pitcher Johnny Cueto had a no-hitter through five innings Saturday against the Dodgers before having it end in a unique fashion. But the biggest news moving forward is that the righty is dealing with a blister on the big toe of his right foot, which could be another blow to a pitching staff that placed Jeff Samardzija (shoulder) on the injured list earlier in the day. Cueto owns a 5.40 ERA through his first four starts, having walked nine batters in 18 ⅓ frames. Whether the ailment keeps Cueto from making his next turn in the rotation against Oakland next weekend was not determined as of Saturday night.--Jesse Borek
