Raisel Iglesias Nails Down Second Save
4 years agoCincinnati Reds closer Raisel Iglesias pitched a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a 4-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday. Iglesias struck out two on the way to earning his second save of the season. It has been slow going in the early portion of the season for Iglesias, who has only received two save chances. Overall, the veteran has a 5.06 ERA, 0.94 WHIP, and 10 strikeouts across 5 1/3 innings of work. Iglesias has a firm grasp on the ninth-inning role in Cincinnati and he should start to see an uptick in save chances as the season goes on.
