David Dahl Has Seen Power Zapped Early In Season
4 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder David Dahl is still waiting for his power stroke to arrive in 2020, having compiled a .606 OPS through his first 14 appearances. In addition to being homer-less, Dahl isn’t hitting the ball particularly hard, ranking in the bottom five percent of the league in Hard Hit rate (22.7%). Curiously enough, Dahl has been hitting the ball in the air (34.5%) more than ever before in his career, although that could be an indicator of what may be on the horizon when he returns home for a six-game homestand Monday. Owners in weekly lock leagues should give Dahl a look as all of his games come at Coors Field, where he has unsurprisingly thrived (.964 OPS) in his career.
