4 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez (undisclosed) hit a home run during an intrasquad scrimmage in Corpus Christi on Sunday. This comes just a day after Alvarez ripped two doubles in a contest. The 23-year-old missed all of summer camp and the team's first 15 games for an undisclosed reason, though he seems like he's getting his timing at the dish down quickly. Houston has not announced when he will return but judging by his performances in these games, it could be soon.--Tim Capurso
