Ryan Braun Returns To Lineup Tuesday Batting Fifth
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder/designated hitter Ryan Braun is back among the starting nine Tuesday against Minnesota for the first time since July 29, having been sidelined due to a finger infection. The move figures to zap much of the fantasy intrigue for Justin Smoak and Logan Morrison, who now have another bat competing for playing time at first base and the DH spot. Braun has opened the season 3-for-13 at the dish with one double and four strikeouts, figuring to be used primarily in the DH role moving forward. His established power makes him a medium-sized and larger season-long candidate.
