4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo allowed three runs (one earned) in six innings in a 6-5 win over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Castillo struck out five and walked two in a no-decision. The young hurler now has a 0-2 record, 3.91 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts across 23 innings of work. Castillo has been solid this season, although he hasn't been quite at his best of late, having allowed nine earned runs and seven walks over his past three starts. He will take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in his next start.--Matt T - RotoBaller
