4 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Schwarber (knee) has been scratched from Wednesday’s contest versus the Cleveland Indians with lingering soreness in his right knee. The slugger has been off to a sluggish start with a .234 batting average to go along with two home runs and six RBI. Schwarber has been getting a lot of run in left field and could see some more time as the designated hitter if his knee continues to bother him. Kris Bryant will slide over to left field and David Bote will enter the lineup at third base and bat seventh. The Cubs have a tough matchup tonight versus Carlos Carrasco and Bote is a dart throw in DFS Wednesday. Schwarber is day-to-day for now and more information should be known as the day goes on.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
